Casket and cover (1) - Brass - Bhairava - Nepal - 19th century

Stunning Himalayan box with lid in alloy with a high percentage of copper. Antique work of art, Nepal XIX century or before. Stunning depiction of Bhairava, from an important Italian private collection. Very fine embossed and chiselled finish. Diameter: 16 cm - Height: 11. 5 cm (see photos) . I will attach numerous detailed photos to show all the decorative details and the state of preservation. No dents or breaks. The embossing is perfect. Only the lid no longer closes perfectly, due to a slight ovalisation of the circular shape. Remember that truly antique Himalayan art objects are few and therefore rare.
