Cassina - Le Corbusier - Chaise longue (1) - LC4 - Leather steel

Beautiful chaise longue by Le Corbusier for Cassina, well maintained but with signs of aging both on the tubular (scratches) and on the leather (stains and scratches) highlighted in detail in the photo (refer) , very particular model of this iconic chaise longue, the structure ( base and seat) is completely black, the Cassina masters trademarks are present both on the base and on the seat with serial number, another peculiarity is the leather of the seat which does not have a mattress but is tied directly to the tubular (a spring has widened as shown in the photo) , this limited edition model is directly inspired by the very first model designed by Lecorbusier without the mattress
