Piece of the limited edition LC4 CP between Cassina and Louis Vuitton which presented its Prêt à porter collection in 2013-14, choosing a new female icon as its muse:
Charlotte Perriand, who in 1928, together with Le Cooorbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, designed the LC4 chaise longue, an iconic piece of the Cassina company and of world design.
Exhibited in the most famous art and design museums, it is a timeless object, its absolutely current shape makes it adaptable to any type of environment. The session is designed by placing the person's well-being at the center of the project. In fact, its dimensions, based on the Modulor measurements, make LC4 an ergonomic chaise longue, combining form and function in an iconic object. Features Cassina LC4 CP chaise longue
Structure: Polished chromed cradle, basalt colored base.
Fabric: VVN leather covering (Vache Vègètale Naturelle) , with insert in the footrest area in dark brown leather.
Cylindrical headrest with dark brown leather straps. The stitching is made with LV thread of the same tone. The edges are cut raw and the hot engraving fillet is dyed dark brown.
Stitching on the natural color leather parts are made with yellow LV thread, while those on the dark brown leather parts are made with dark brown LV thread.
Self-supporting mattress covered in VVN leather (Vache Vègètale Naturelle) , with insert in the footrest area in dark brown leather. The mattress, coupled on the back with self-supporting canvas and finished with a closing lining, is fixed to the chrome cradle by means of springs.
Cassina branding Each piece of furniture in the “Cassina i Maestri” collection is indelibly imprinted on the base and chromed cradle: the Author's signature, the “Cassina I Maestri” logo and the progressive number.
