One of the first 27 prints Noman published after taking over the woodblocks from W.G. van de Sande & Co., active in Amsterdam between ca. 1806 and 1814. Nice scenes of boys spinning a top, skating, riding a hobby-horse, flying a kite etc.; (2) "Ziet kinderen, ziet deez prent eens aan, wat fraaije beelden hier op staan". Catchpenny print, sheet size 40.5 x 34.5 cm, with 12 fingercol. woodcuts of professions (probably cut by J. Plugger), each with 2-line letterpress verse below, numbered "N. 319" in upper right corner, Zaltbommel, J. Noman en Zoon, ca. 1840. Folds, neatly closed tears and other sm. defects, but a good copy.
