Folds and other sm. defects, but in good condition for this kind of print. De Meyer p. 241, and Noman cat. 20, van de Sande cat. 20. One of the first 27 prints Noman published after taking over the woodblocks from W.G. van de Sande & Co., active in Amsterdam between ca. 1806 and 1814. Nice scenes of boys spinning a top, skating, riding a hobby-horse, flying a kite etc.; (2) "Ziet kinderen, ziet deez prent eens aan, wat fraaije beelden hier op staan". Catchpenny print, sheet size 40.5 x 34.5 cm, with 12 fingercol. woodcuts of professions (probably cut by J. Plugger), each with 2-line letterpress verse below, numbered "N. 319" in upper right corner, Zaltbommel, J. Noman en Zoon, ca. 1840. Folds, neatly closed tears and other sm. defects, but a good copy.
