This long sabre appears to have been inspired by a French cuirassier sabre of Napoleon's Grande Armée. The four branches of the basket converge in the culotte in the form of three knobs. The basket and grip cap are made of brass and have a beautiful patina. The handle is wrapped in black leather and twisted brass wire. No markings or inscriptions are visible. The metal scabbard shows signs of rust, the blade is in very good condition and oiled. Blade length: approx. 84.5 cm, scabbard length: approx. 90 cm, total length of sabre: approx. 99.5 cm.
