This is one of the earliest Celtic imitations of the statere, with a distinctive look to Apollo's head, with a plump cheek, a slight smile and very fine hair, and details of the bige that differ markedly from the Greek 'design': an odd platform at the back, over which the charioteer seems to be standing, as though the engraver wanted to depict the chariot in profile, while the model is three-quarter facing.
