Centerpiece in the shape of a cup inspired by classicism. Clearly, the forms and decorative elements are inspired by 19th century neoclassical silverware models, based as those present in decorative elements of Antiquity, being able to relate the pair with works of the quality of the creations of silversmith centers of first line as Platerías Martínez, for example.
The hallmarks, located on the circular bases, give the name of the person responsible for the candlesticks, as well as the silver grade (.925). José Antonio Agruña Ribeira settled in Madrid in 1884, coming from Bergondo (La Coruña), founding the Agruña Jewelry, which today continues to produce works that combine traditional knowledge with current trends in high jewelry.
