A ceramic figurine modelled in the round as a mounted rider wearing a tunic fastened at the waist, conical cap, raised saddle, horse with applied bridle and harness. 738 grams, 26cm (10 1/4"). Property of a London gentleman; previously acquired on the German art market in 1973. Possibly after a bronze prototype.
