Cerussite Mammoth-St Anthony Mine, St. Anthony Deposit, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA "A cluster of delicate tan reticulated cerussite crystals with a V twin attached. Got this specimen when I bought the Denny Sutherland collection. The V twin used to have an opposed smaller V twin attached at it (sic)apex but it was handled recently by a well meaning person who was helping me with the collection and it was broken off. The twin is in the bottom of the box. Perhaps I will reattach it some day. It broke my heart." - Rock H. Currier Another beautiful example of why: children, pets, and, the mentally infirm should be kept away from delicate specimens. That caveat aside, it is still a fine example of a reticulated Cerussite from Tiger and, given what miracles are being performed daily by the new 'cosmeticians' of the mineral trade, not without hope of seamless reunion. Overall Measurements: 2.8 x 2.0 x 1.6 inches (7.0 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm) Offered at no reserve Provenance: Ex. Denny Sutherland Collection [RHC #627, acquired 1966] MinID Y05-FHU [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
