Cerussite Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia "A crystal cluster with a big two inch twinned cerussite crystal growing on matrix tie [sic] two smaller crystals off to one side. Repaired Specimen given to me by Jerry Panzer" - Rock H. Currier As common as Cerussite is as an ore of lead, good examples showing the crystal form are rather rare, and prized as such. Shown here is a sizable cluster of colorless, twinned crystals from the now defunct: Tsumeb Mine. Luster and transparency are on par with fine examples. A repair has been noted. Overall Measurements: 3.9 x 2.4 x 1.8 inches (10.0 x 6.0 x 4.5 cm) Offered at no reserve Provenance: Gift from Jerry Panzer [RHC #1685, acquired 1972] [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
