Letter handwritten and signed by the famous mashpia, Rabbi Alter Simchowitz, sent to his friend Rabbi Mordechai Chefetz, may his blood be avenged, one of the leading Chaba"d activists in Lithuania until the Holocaust. In his letter, Rabbi Alter Simchowitz requests "Influence the people to donate with an open hand to support Torah scholars ..."
