This painting will be included in the forthcoming Volume III of the Chaim Soutine Catalogue Raisonne by Maurice Tuchman and Esti Dunow, currently in preparation.

Condition Report:
The canvas is lined. All four edges are taped. An undulation to the canvas. Very fine lines of stable craquelure, most notably running across the top margin of the composition. Under UV light: Strokes of inpainting to all four edges of the canvas. Two additional strokes of inpainting to the sitter's forehead. This work is in good condition.
