Painted in 1914.

This painting will be included in the forthcoming Volume III of the Chaim Soutine Catalogue Raisonne by Maurice Tuchman and Esti Dunow, currently in preparation.

Condition Report:
The canvas is lined. There is some fine craquelure, most notable in the center left of the composition. There is a minor frame abrasion, mostly along the lower edge. Under UV light, there is no inpainting apparent but a milky varnish obscures further reading. The work is in good condition.
