Chair, Sofa (5) - Directoire - Wood - First half 19th century
Set of 4 chairs and a four-seat sofa in ‘Direttorio’ style. The structure is of solid walnut wood, with lyre-shaped carved backrests, arched legs and woven straw seats. Origin: Mantua Condition: restored, sofa to restore and strengthen at the back, treated with anti-woodworm products and wax. The straw seats have been restored and are in excellent condition. It is possible to view the lot in Venice and pick it up by van.
