Imposing gilded bronze ceiling light with white crystals from the House of Savoy.

We are in the Umbertine era, mid-19th century, the reign of Savoy which was now beginning its slow and gradual deterioration given by the generational change and the political emancipation of the Italian peninsula.
chandelier from the royal palace used by Queen Margherita and King Umberto, as can be seen from the coat of arms with the double cross of Savoy. This coat of arms has the double cross because the two spouses were first cousins, children of an incestuous relationship between brothers.

The ceiling light is in excellent condition, it has no signs of failure, wear, dirt or breakages.
Decorations in white crystal strung with rigid thread, the drops have been replaced with more recent crystals from the 1960s following a partial restoration.
The electrical part was recently refurbished, but without invasive actions to maintain the authenticity of the piece as much as possible, but giving the buyer the certainty of having a functioning lot for many years.
