Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life

which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of beautiful leather, wool, and features a ruthenium CC closure. This particular bag is the original medium size of the collection and features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Current retail price of the 'old' style medium size is $5900.

The exterior leather is clean throughout but has heavy scuffing and rubbing along the edges. The wool has some light wear. The shoulder strap has scratches and creasing. The underside of the flap has noticeable scratches. The main interior is clean with a few popped stitches on the trim. Overall it remains in good, gently used condition.
