This must have sculpture was crafted with the traditional "lost wax" technique by third generation Arizonian Dan Bates. One of the founding members of the Arizona 1st Company Governor’s Horse Guards, the sculptor focuses his art on the southwest, desert wildlife, the cavalry, and the working cowboy.
