Charger - Porcelain - Breastfeeding women - China - 19th/20th century
A beautiful quality late Qing dynasty or Republic period charger decorated in famille verte enamels, depicting a women breastfeeding a boy on a bench in fenced garden scene. The women looks at a painting of a rocky coastline with a gilded moon above.
The backside is decorated with three sprays of flowers and has a apocryphal Jiajing mark in double circle. (The metal bracket for wall hanging can be carefully removed, see last pictures) .
