Signed in the plate lower left and pencil signed with inscription in French to Miss Lenore Wiles dated 23.5.29 lower right. Labeled "Épreuve d'artiste" in pencil lower left and with illegible copyright information printed upper right. 13 1/2" x 19 1/4" (with frame 18 1/2" x 24 3/4"). Foxing, staining and discoloration to image and margins, paint loss to frame.
