Exhibited: Reframing Haiti: Art, History and Performativity, Brown University, Providence, RI, 2011. Provenance: the collection of author and historian Marcus Rediker, Pittsburgh, PA. According to popular accounts the artist went to the National Palace in 1969 to protest the regime of Francois Duvalier, and was never heard from again.
