Charles Vital Cornu (French, 1851-1927). Antique French bronze statue. Titled, "Fracasse Salon Des Beaux Arts." Based on the main character of the French 1863 novel "Le Capitaine Fracasse" Artist signature at base, as well as foundry mark. Plaque at front with name of the bronze. Resembles the character Cyrano de Bergerac, played by the actor Jose Ferrer.
