Charlotte Perriand - Door (1)

Extremely Rare, Masterpiece, a pair of doors from one of the most iconic building of Charlotte Perriand: La Cascade located in les Arcs ski resort in France. Built in 1969. La Cascade is the second residential building constructed at Arcs 1600 in 1969, designed and supervised by Charlotte Perriand and Guy Rey-Millet. The doors are in good condition with marks of use. Very nice patina and micro dots of rust. Wonderful aspect. - Width: 65cm - Height: 198cm - Thickness: 26mm - Glass diameter: 30cm - Each door weights 52kg - Made from iron, painted in black - The handles are made of mengkulang wood as well as the wood sticks on each interior sides of the door - The doors have double side hinges, fully working.
