The incredible material displays a most intense purplish hue with black accents and a bold chatoyant aspect. The box has been well-crafted as evidenced by the nicely book-matched sides and lid, which features an attractive natural pattern adding even more intrigue to this highly decorative object. The inner chamber has been lined in Spanish Cedar, with the box finished with Gold-plated brass hinges and felt feet. The artist stamp is visible on the bottom – "0466."
