This is a professional Santa Claus costume set manufactured by Chas. J. Thomas, a specialist uniform and equipment tailor based in Dormont, Pennsylvania. The set is composed of a jacket, trousers, hat, wig and beard set, two belts, and a pair of boot covers. The garments are constructed from red cotton-blend velvet with off-white synthetic sherpa faux-fur trim. The jacket features a high collar, two large front patch pockets, and faux-fur trim at the cuffs and hem. The trousers are designed with a loose fit and gathered elastic ankles. The traditional pointed hat includes a large white yarn tassel. The wig and beard are made from synthetic fibers. Two black belts are included: a wider belt with a large rectangular polished metal buckle and a thinner belt featuring metal grommets. The boot covers are designed as spats and feature small metal bells attached at the ankle. A brown carrying case houses the set.
