Château window buffet - Renaissance style - Walnut - Mid 19th century

A large Renaissance Castle showcase sideboard made of solid walnut with a blonde patina. Front opening with 3 doors, including a glazed one and 2 drawers. The upper part features a niche topped by a marble plate placed on 2 caryatid columns with fantastic characters and topped by a fan-shaped shell and two galleries with tassels. A piece of furniture extensively carved with heads of characters, intertwined vegetation and other ornaments. . . The lower part is on 2 ‘pied-miche’ feet (loaf-shaped feet) . Period: circa 1850. Size: h 220 x 130 x 60 cm.
