A second portfolio of wood engravings by Thomas Bewick from Bewick's original printing blocks. In 1945 Mr. R. Hunter Middleton's Cherryburn Press published an edition of 160 copies of its Thomas Bewick Portfolio which went out of print immediately. In 1970, 100 further prints were struck from different blocks collected in the interim. A fitting tribute to Bewick, who revolutionized the pictorial press. Prospectus laid in.
