Chest - Beautiful Dutch panel box - Oak

This chest is from the first half of the 17th century and was made for a wealthy citizen.
Around 1650.
Not a farmer's chest but a 'city' piece of furniture.
Refined with beautiful panels with typical Renaissance motifs characteristic of the 17th century.
Real furniture makers work.
Continuous uprights that extend from under the foot rail to the floor.
Beautiful deep stitchwork in 'counted money' motif in the styles.
Very nice warm patina.
The sides also have panels and wrought iron handles to move the chest.
The lock is original.
Early end – slightly tapering.
Two document trays on the inside.

At the bottom of the rear posts there are pieces of tips (10 cm) up to the floor of the box. The middle panel in the back has been replaced. (by me, and when it was finished I only saw the original panel on the floor, I left it that way and added the panel.)
