Chevrolet - 3600 5 window - 1953

Beautiful Chevrolet 3600 3/4 ton version. 5 windows. This Chevrolet pickup was purchased from the first Dutch owner who bought it 20 years ago, the car was repainted at the time, as well as parts re-chromed, reupholstered, and so on. It has the original Fulton sun visor. Although the restoration is 20 years old, the car still looks very good. The 6-cylinder was later replaced by a 5. 7 TBI (injection) Chevrolet engine, with a th700 automatic gearbox with overdrive. The Chevrolet still has its original (rigid) front axle, and original rear axle (low transmission) . The 8 cylinders are not registered on the registration papers. The Chevrolet is from before 1960 and therefore not subject to periodic inspections in the Netherlands. The car has power steering and power brakes. The indicators on the front mudguards are both missing a glass, and the horn button on the steering is missing. There are always minor points of improvement but in general it’s a very nice pickup. The mileage is unknown, the speedometer also indicates too high a speed. The fuel gauge doesn’t work.
