Chevrolet Coupé Fischer AB National Custom Year of manufacture 1928. 3-speed manual. Equipped with wooden spoke wheels. The Series AB was powered by Chevrolet's old 171 cu in (2800 cc) four-cylinder engine, but with small tweaks to produce 35 hp (26 k. W) at 2,200 rpm. There was now also braking on four wheels. Fisher Body offered eight different body variants with both open and closed bodies. The best choice was listed as the Imperial Landau listed at $715 ($10,776 in 2020 dollars [4]) . [1] In May 1925, the Chevrolet Export Boxing plant in Bloomfield, New Jersey, was repurposed by a previous owner where knock-down kits for Chevrolet, Oakland, Oldsmobile, Buick and Cadillac cars, and Chevrolet and GMC truck parts were packed and shipped by railroad to the docks in Weehawken, New Jersey, for overseas GM assembly plants.
