Title: The Rest of the Night
Dimensions: 70 x 55 cm
Year: 2025
Chiara Sirelli is a contemporary figurative artist whose research focuses on the human portrait as an emotional and narrative space. Her works explore fragility, melancholy, and relational dynamics through suspended faces and gestures, capable of evoking intimate and universal stories at the same time.
Her paintings, characterized by a strong chromatic sensitivity and a painterly language that dialogues with tradition while maintaining a contemporary outlook, render silent characters, often immersed in atmospheres of waiting or introspection. The psychological dimension thus becomes the fulcrum of her research, where the viewer is invited to recognize familiar emotions and shared states of mind.
