Republic Restrike Peso 1883-Dated (1925)-So MS64 NGC, Santiago mint, KM142.3, Elizondo-139. Restrike, Flat top "3" variety. Bestowed the coveted "Wings" sticker, this fully deserving Peso finds itself conservatively graded and just shy of Gem Mint State. A one-year type displaying razor-sharp features with essentially full mint brilliance and barely any contact marks; the reverse is with a pleasing, silky surface. Only a small handful of these Restrikes exist, with NGC and PCGS having seen a total of nine examples, this among the finest. Ex. R.L.
