This issue was supposedly only produced for one month in 1817 whilst the assayer, Francisco Rodriguez Brochero, was temporarily suspended leading to no assayer initials being present on the coin and the Y of the reverse legend being centered above the pillar. Approaching a Mint State preservation with only mild surface friction to establish the grade, the offering boasts a unique visual character, whose tone has concentrated to a burnt sienna despite being struck in silver.
