From my collection 18th-19th Century, China DAO period, strong, straight, sharp-edged blade, with thinner cover. The quail of iron is circular in shape, with a light border. Grip chiseled literally covered in strips of cloth, the handle an iron statue, painted black. Wooden scab with black leather cover. Iron brackets are painted black. Length 100. 5 cm.
