China: , Hsüan-t'ung 10 Cents Year 3 (1911) MS64 PCGS,...
Hsüan-t'ung 10 Cents Year 3 (1911) MS64 PCGS, Tientsin mint, KM-Y28, L&M-41, Kann-230, WS-0049. A coin which could very nearly be seen with a Gem Mint State moniker, this gorgeous 10 Cents immediately appears awing even from an arm's length. One of the only Central Mint minors issued during Hsüan-t'ung's reign for general circulation throughout the Empire, series collectors will know full well how difficult it is to locate a representative in appreciable condition. Most often encountered in the XF to AU range, and frequently with Details modifiers, survivors such as this demand significant premiums among collectors--for comparison, the last example we offered in this grade brought $13,200 in our December 2020 sale. Simply an endlessly entrancing coin worthy of close in-hand inspection.
