China, original and fairly comprehensive early collection put together locally by missionaries at the time of issue. Stamps up to early Peoples Republic. Two small old ring binders from 1876 Dragons 1ca, 3ca and 5ca used. Full 1894 set used to 24ca, 1897 1c on 3c red m no gum (cat £500). Imperial Chinese most issues to $1. Thereafter split between the two albums, most issues including the complicated Chinese Provinces. Noted 1921 Air stamps set SG352/6 x2 used (cat £400), 1913 up to Hall of Classics $20, 1928 Chang Tsi-lin and Chiang Kaisheh sets both m & u (cat £480), 1928 Funeral m & u sets (cat £160), 1932 Scientific Expedition set m (cat £400) etc. Much useful material, rarely found in such original untouched coindition.
