Rare Chinese 18/19 Century Carved & Polished Butterscotch Amber Snuff Bottle, one side carved in relief with a Fu Dog playing with a Brocade Ball, the reverse with a Seated Deer over a Bat; base with wide ovoid foot rim well polished; "tourmaline" Peking Glass cover. Good condition with some age related wear or tiny flakes, natural color changes, original small lines, the mouth with flakes also probably original. Weight of Amber 69.2 grams. Height with top 3 1/2 inches (9 cm.).
