Chinese 18th Cent. Doucai Lotus Dish 6.25''x1.25''. Exceptional five-color underglaze and overglaze enameled dish with five scrolling lotus flower motif in center. It has a repeating five scrolling lotus flower motif on bottom rim. Six character Chenghua commemorative Ming mark on bottom. Two old professional 1.25'' rim chip repairs to top rim. Four pronged spider crack near center of dish, can be seen easily on verso. 18th century, Qing dynasty. Likely dates to the Yongzheng period.
