Chinese 18th c. Kangxi Porcelain Mallet Vase
18th c. Chinese blue and white porcelain mallet vase, decorated with interior vignettes interspersed with auspicious Buddhist symbols. Marked along the underside in underglaze blue with the double ring mark typical of the Kangxi period.
Height: 7 3/4 in x diameter: 4 in.
Condition Report: There is a hairline crack along the side of the body running through the decoration that is slightly stained. There is a crack along the bottom that is stained; visible in the lot listing. The top rim of the vase shows signs of abrasion and possible reduction.
