Chinese Agate Carving of Bird, 19th Century
A Chinese agate carving dating from the 19th century. The carving features a small vase with a bird and peach branches. It is accompanied by a wooden stand.
Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 7 cm tall X 4.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Good condition with a few miniscule chips.
Provenance: From Mr. Chun in Northern California. These items were from Mr. Chun's grandfather, who was the owner of Chang Mao Yang Hang bank in Shanghai during the British concession in the early 1900s.
