Chinese Agate Snuff Bottle, 18th Century
A Chinese agate snuff bottle dating to the 18th century. The bottle depicts guardian lion heads with engaged rings on the sides. The stopper is made from coral and turquoise.
Dimensions are: 2 1/4 in tall X 2 in wide, 5.7 cm tall X 5.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition, though the stopper has no spoon or cork.
Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s. Lots 194-198 from our auction on Sept 6th, 2019 were from the same estate.
