Chinese Agate Snuff Bottle, 18th Century
A Chinese agate snuff bottle dating from the 18th century. The snuff bottle has a carving of a fisherman beneath a pine tree with lion heads holding engaged rings at the shoulders. It has a jadeite stopper, spoon, and a wooden stand.
Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 7.6 cm tall X 5.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s. Lots 194-198 from our auction on Sept 6th, 2019 were from the same estate.
