PROVENANCE
An Important Private Collection, Toronto

Naturalistically carved as a furled lotus leaf borne on a small pad as the foot. Having curling leafy stems rising from the base, forming the handle on one side of the rim. Decorated to the body with blooming lotus and sprigs in low relief.
