Chinese Bamboo Carving of Shou, 19th Century

A Chinese bamboo carving of Shou dating to the 19th century. Shou is depicted holding a ruyi wand in one had and a staff in the other.

Dimensions: 19 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide; 49.5 cm tall X 14 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Significant wear to the surface, several large cracks and areas of denting, area of loss to the beard and base.

Provenance: From a collection in Southern California.
