Chinese Blanc de Chine Censer, 18th Century

A Chinese blanc de chine censer dating to the 18th century. The censer is decorated with two engaged guardian lion heads on the sides.

Dimensions: 2 1/4 inches tall X 6 inches wide; 5.7 cm tall X 15.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Numerous chips to the rim and firing cracks to the base.

Provenance: From Mr. Cheng in Southern California. Acquired in Hong Kong prior to the 1980s.
