Chinese Blue Ground Winter Dragon Robe, 19th Century
A Chinese blue ground winter dragon robe dating from the 19th century. The robe features 8 dragons with 1 secret dragon panel, also features bats, wave and rock motif, Shou medallions and other auspicious symbols.
Dimensions: 55 1/2 inches tall X 83 1/2 inches wide; 141 cm tall X 212.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From Dr. Pung Cheng, a professor emeritus at SUNY Stony Brook. These items were collected by his grandfather who brought them from Shanghai in 1949.
