Chinese Blue and White Enameled Hotpot, Republic

A Chinese porcelain hotpot with blue and white glaze and colorful enameled decoration dating from the Republic period. The rim and foot of the pot features blue and white geometric designs, while the body and lid have enameled flowers and fruit. The lid has a pair of metal handles, and the body has two double beast heads supporting metal handles. The interior of the pot features a center metal heating console. The lower portion of the foot of the pot has a hole connected to the heating console.

Dimensions are: 7 1/2 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide, 19.1 cm X 24.1 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Overall good condition. There is general use wear throughout including areas of glaze loss. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
