Chinese Blue and White Plate, Ming Dynasty

A Chinese blue and white plate dating from the Ming dynasty. The interior has a central roundel featuring a landscape scene with a pair of birds. The scalloped rim of the plate is decorated with a lotus pond scene. The exterior of the plate has floral motifs and lingzhi.

Dimensions are: 2 inches tall X 12 1/2 inches wide, 5.1 cm X 31.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Iron pitting and significant glaze defects are present throughout. Abrasions are present to the interior. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
