Chinese Blue and White Teapot and Fitted Warmer

rectangular teapot with lid and wire handle, square fitted warming pot, both with underglaze blue decoration depicting blossoms and ruyi, 6 x 3-3/4 in. - Provenance: Collected in Shanghai, China prior to 1902 by Frederick and Margaret Haskell; By descent in family to Frances Arnold; Private Collection, Newnan, Georgia - Note: Objects from this personal collection were acquired in Shanghai, China between the years 1862-1902. They were collected by Frederick and Margaret Haskell. Mr. Haskell was the owner of the Japan and China Trading Company. The couple retired to Lake Weir Florida in 1902, bringing these collected objects with them to the United States and they descended through the family to current day. Condition Report: one metal hook on warmer is broken off but present, light abrasions and wear consistent with age and use, some pin holes
