Chinese Bronze Censer, 19th Century
A Chinese bronze censer dating from the 19th century. The lid features a guardian lion finial, the censer features lion handles. The body, lid and stand all feature bands of dragons chasing a flaming pearl. The bottom of the censer features a 4-character mark.
Dimensions with lid and stand: 12 3/4 inches tall X 11 1/2 inches wide; 32.4 cm tall X 29.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good condition with minor age wear.
Provenance: Collected by the consignors father, Edward Alley, who lived in Tientsin , China in 1937
