Chinese Bronze Censer with Original Stand, 18th Century
A small Chinese incense burner with its original bronze stand dating from the 18th century. The tripod incense burner is round with two beast heads on its exterior. The stand has three ruyi feet.
Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide, 3.8 cm X 5.7 cm. Weight: 265.1 grams. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both the incense burner and the stand are in overall good condition.
Provenance: From Mr. Zaun's collection in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Zaun lived in Taiwan with his wife from 1967-68 where his interest in Chinese history and artifacts blossomed. Lots 100-105 from our Nov 14, 2020 auction were from Mr. Zaun's collection.
